    Perhaps not surprisingly, intype crashes in you don’t have a theme file in the theme folder.

    That’s all, just thought I’d let you know!

    This does not happen in the new release.

    It also crashes when loads an invalid theme, in different offsets depending on which invalid it is.
    A 'theme validator' routine could be present with the theme selector in the next public release.

    Ya know, my computer doesn't work when I take out the hard drive.

    Common guys, report bugs that you find, not bugs that you look for.

    gbr is right, I already had the problem before, but I think it has been said on this forum, I don’t know where exactly ?

    Michael Boutros: I think gbr has a valid point. I get what you’re saying about removing the theme. But if the theme is invalid I don’t think Intype should crash.

    That’s the proper way to bugtest, run it through every possible iteration that you can think of, and then those you couldn’t imagine someone doing, but possibly could. (For instance, what if someone downloaded Intype from a compressed *.zip or *.rar file, what would happen if they did not decompress the entire archive, but only ran the Intype.exe file FROM the compressed file?) Hmmm, maybe I should try that. :)

    gbr: can you send me some invalid theme that crashes Intype down? I have made some changes to Jasmine reader, so maybe the new release will handle it well.

    It shocks me the things people do when working with software.
    I train people to use software and it is truely amazing to see what they come up with.

    I tried to make a theme as invalid as I could, but the only thing Intype did was a fallback to default theme. No crash. Tested on new release. So maybe you have even more invalid theme, or it’s fixed :-)

    It’s fixed actually. In current public release, there was set first theme that has been loaded successfully. So when theme is invalid or just the themes folder is empty, it crashes.

    However, thanks to theme loader Intype just applies default embedded theme.
