Sooooo gooood :D
Eek… where’s the menu I made for the C bundle snippets? And the comment wrappers?
Edit: I’ve attached a zip file of it here…
Whaooo !
Thanks a lot guys, great work.
Looks sweet, but I don’t suppose some kind soul could do me the favour of emailing me this file? I’m at work and can’t download it, but could receive it via email.
If your feeling generous, my email address is dunc at dflock dot co dot uk
Thanks!
dflock: sent
Brilliant – thanks very much centi!
Mamma mia!!! :))
Wohooo! Undo – now I can start using Intype for real!
And Move Line Up/Down implemented already. Obviously someone more than myself thinks this is a neat feature. Just a quick question regarding the Tab/Indent feature – can I set the default somewhere? I use the Ruby standard of 2 spaces in almost all my files, so I want this to be the default.
The defaults has been discussed in Language Preferences topic
Defaulting to something can be in conflict with current file’s indentation, in my opinion defaulting may occur only when creating a new file of certain type. However, we have to implement detection of indentation and conversions.
This is excellent thank you!

Right, and I see I was one of the participants in that thread.

Totally agree, but I just thought it would be good to have a global default just until the file type specific settings and file specific overrides are implemented. Incidentally I looked in config/preferences.itConfig and found settings for indent_size and indent_with_spaces there, so I tried to change those settings. But doing so makes Intype hang when I start typing in a new document, so there seems to be a bug somewhere.
Ok, so report the bug in the proper category
marchbox: We are planning to implement font fallback. So Intype will use characters from other font, if current hasn’t got them.
Martin (& co),
Fantastic. That’s all I can say. I can now use this full-time. Thanks.
Finally!!! Thank you for the nice new features, especially the undo/redo and the tab settings. I have only a complaint: as a Python programmer I always use soft tabs (4 spaces) and at the moment I have to set the option each time I open a file. This setting should be persistent.
Albertus: There’s little bug with loading preferences.itConfig that contains the default settings for this. I’ll try to fix it and release in few days (with other fixes).
Great job! thanks!

thats would be excelent!
martincohen: what’s next on the agenda for the next release?
yarden: I won’t say until the right time comes. And this is true for time estimations as well. So stop asking :)

Hi, I’ve just manually edited preferences.itConfig with indent_with_spaces : true
Now the setting is persistent… but Intype doesn’t work :(

With the Undo/Redo, I can finally start using it for development. The only thing I’m impatiently waiting for are file browser/projects sidebar and a tabbed interface. Keep up the good work!
Yes!!! undo/redo finally :D thank you very much for all the hard work guys
Now I can finally use intype as my notepad everywhere _ and in future I’m sure as my full time job editor :)
Thanks alot for all the work!
keep it up Intype team :)
You guys do all job for rock’n‘roll today! Perfect work!
awesome!
I too would love to have an ASP bundle – I’ve been putting off dong my own waiting for the textmate one to be converted. Is it available anywhere?
They aren’t available quiet yet.
I guess I should have put Being Converted.
Sorry for the confusion.

Sprogz: Martin has a converter so don’t worry about converting it yourself. However no ETA yet.
The documentation is coming.

did you uninstall the previous release?
Extra bundles will (I believe) be found here temporarily, until a more sensible spot is made for them.
@pman: I think that the new version explicitly stated that you should uninstall the previous version first. So I think that you should try a clean install first and see if the problem is still there.
Cheers,
Nick
Cool Release! There are just some parts that are still missing though:
BTW, as I have tested the new version, it does not remember the last known Tab Spacing setting at the bottom. It was just a minor glitch though, but I think it should remember.
Congratulations to the entire team!
jdeduya, checkout the intype projectmanager : )
Intype Rocks!
There is a little problem with performance though and one thing that somehow annoys me is that it does not remember the tab settings so I have to change it everytime I open a new file.
I’m really looking forward to InType 1.0!
For now, the PM is a big help and it is way much better than using Explorer. :)
Hey Martin, it’s been quite a while. How soon can we have the next release? :)
Well, it seems like one release per month… so I’ll expect one on my birthday.. haha! Martin’s been busy :)
