This has probably been reported, but there's a really annoying "feature" in HTML files.

Pressing Shift+Spacebar creates an HTML space. It should probably be set to Ctrl+Spacebar?

    Cheers!

I’d like to second that. :) Mostly because if I don’t use CAPSLOCK but wish to capitalize a couple letters:
    L Y N X
...I don’t let go of the shift key. But, I think this is more of a feature request, or bundle comment as opposed to a bug report.

    I'm pretty sure it's a bug...no?

I'm sure we're not the only 2 who type letters with the shift key pushed in.

    If it's not a bug then, well, it's a feature request! :)

    weee

    Cheers.

    Simply delete \bundles\XHTML.itBundle\snippets\nbsp_non_breaking_space_alt+space.itSnippet.

Do you actually use non breaking spaces? I don’t, and I plan to delete that snippet from the repository if no one here uses it often.

&nbsp; is very Web 1.0 It's about as cool as using br to create a new line or even better <tr><td>&nbsp;</td></tr>. Come on, we all did it once upon a time.

Could be useful sometimes, but I think a plugin for HTML entities would be enough. Shift+Space probably should be left alone. But Ctrl+Space could be bound to something, that’s a nice and easy-to-hit combination that I can’t see interfering with everyday typing.

Ctrl+Space may be used for auto-completition. Maybe Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar would work better.

    AH AH!

There's 2 of them. There's on in the XHTML snippets and one in the HTML snippets.

You have to remove both for it to work.

    Annoying!

Keep up the good work though :)

    Cheers!

@idyllrain: I have and do remove them, I just don’t backup any changes I make in my bundles from version to version. :) My request was to have it removed from the main distribution, which I see you already plan on doing. :P

    I’ve already removed them. :)

I might release my experimental HTML/XHTML snippets in a few days for you guys to test and suggest improvements. Right now, I gotta finish up a menu for them so that the bundle menu won’t cover up your whole screen when you open it (there’s 92 snippets there.. heh).
