its not ONLY deleting a line, it copy’s the line.
so its actualy cutting the line.
is this intentional?
Yes, it is a feature, I’m using it all the time.
(I don’t want to start too many threads in one night, so I’ll add this to this one :)
If I am typing something, for example “SOMETEXT” and I make a type, I naturally just press Backspace. I don’t release Shift as all editors I’ve used previously have not required that you do so. Intype appears to do nothing when you press Shift+Backspace, it just sits there. Unless you have another feature planned for this key combination, I vote that it acts just as if I was pressing Backspace :-)
yarden: It’s a feature, but we also have “delete line” command available. However, there is default preset for the Shift+Del (that is actually an alternative for Ctrl+X from older OS and some people keep using it). We have in short-term plans to add custom keyboard mapping, that enables you to setup the default command set by your own preferences.
daryl: Shift+Backspace is in our ToDo, and will be included in next public release.
