martin: how about a blog post to update us about the development?
hurrycane: Guys the last release was on the 18th of March. Now we are on the 17th of May. In 2 month we didn`t have a release so if you could just pack a unstable one it would be great.
Remember to repost this on the 17th of June (not forgetting to change “May” to “June” and the “2” to “3”)...
Yeah, the screenshots will be available soon. I got to get some things done to make it look nice :) We made a big step forward, but it takes two or three weeks to know the release date estimation. Everything inside is brand new and got to be tuned a little. I estimate that by the end of the week I’ll finish the internal preview version, and publish some screenshots for ya, here on the forums.
Currently I’m finishing multi selections, and split-view back-end.
That’s good to hear you again Martin ;)
It’s been a long long time since your last post/comment.
We’re all waiting the 0.3.x unstable release… Glad to hear that it will be available soon but 2-3 weeks is not as soon as I expected :(
Yay!!!
I am with .Dani, I really like Intype as opposed to E; but right now E works and Intype doesn’t. Please feed us, we are starving! =]
thats why there taking a big leap!
the fact that we have 4 releases does not mean that the development is slow.
=======
E is not as good
you have a point…
“young one.” was out of line. the fact that I’m younger does not mean you’re smarter, or that I should agree with everything someone more older or experienced have to say.
yes… :)
1.) Bugs should be placed in the appropriate sub-forum category.
2.) The Intype developers are developers. They do not live at their parents’ (as far as I’m aware) and have other full time jobs.
3.) The new Intype sounds like almost a complete rewrite. It may not appear as though it’s vastly different, but I would hope the differences are to help with future-proofing of certain capabilities in the Intype roadmap.
Over-exaggerated opinions aside, all we can do is wait and see.
The download links are now fixed
