Very good news Martin, thanks !
Yay! Thanks Martin! Let the bug reports flow!!
Great! This feed is mine. :)
Just installed the new version and it “feels” and looks even cuter. I really love that application.
Thank you guys!
Can’t wait to test it :-).
Herr-Vorragend: One smaller thing:
In Appearance Presets: “Apply preset to these languages” should be THOSE languages :)
Really. I think THESE is better.
tstrokes:
Really. I think THESE is better.
Yeah, it should be “these”.
Delicious!
View, Appearance Preferences, Center Document.
When word wrap is on, and the boundary is less than the width of your screen, the document appears centered. It’s a neat feature :)
Warlock-G: Take a look at draft documentation if it is helpful: http://intype.info/manual/appearance_preferences.html
Works fine for me. Whats your box config? Browser?
Release ToDo updated.
martincohen: Release ToDo updated.
I’ve got a white page :(
Same here :(
Also getting a blank page…
P.S, silentrob, aren’t you a smart alec!
Seems fixed !
chainy: Hi all,
I know we have to be patiant but I just have to ask, is there any idea of the expected next unstable release date?
When it’s done !
But are we there yet?!?
I must admit and I think everyone can concur, we’re excited for a great windows editor to finally rear its head. Emacs, Vim, UltraEdit, Notepad++ and whatever editor you can think of, just isn’t enough or its waaay to much. Products like Intype and E are sort of saviors in that sense.
We are almost there yet. We are creating a cut line in planned todo lists, to release what we have and to let you test it. Cannot say when exactly we will release, but we have started cutting some updates and moving them to next release… Also stable release is in progress.
@martincohen,
Friggin awesome! Keep up the good work! And please, don’t take my whining to heart, I’m just pumped is all.
Hi guys, here’s some update. Here is the list (with screenshots) of features already implemented in Intype:
Edit:
Cool – thanks for the update!
Great! I am very much excited for the next release… Thanks for the info.

Yay for progress, I can’t wait!
Great! how about a quick open field at the bottom of the PM for quick look? (like favorites side-bar search in firefox)
yarden: is planned, however Alt+Shift+O is much quicker way…
Unstable Release .652 available. Highlights:
UPDATE: A little quick fix in .652,...
@martincohen
This release is looking really good, thanks! A couple of things:
Testing Needed: I was not able to replicate this bug after this fix.
I got this bug in 0.3.1.652 Unstable, Windows XP SP2
Nice release so far -thanks! I think I preferred the old bundle icons, but the project reload is really useful.
Thanks!
Jack Sleight: What do you mean by non-standard shortcuts? Which are non-standard?
Jack Sleight: You can override the bundles using the users folder in the Intype installation directory. For example, to override the DIV snippet:
<Intype_Installation_Dir>/user/bundles/HTML.itBundle/snippets/div.itSnippet
You can define your own bundles there as well.
More bundle editing features are planned for Bundle Editor, that will also come with moving the users directory to other location.
Actually I got a bit confused, turns out what I thought was standard wasn’t, sorry, all I was really referring too was that the redo shortcut in Dreamweaver is CTRL+Y (as in Intype), but it is also CTRL+SHIFT+Z, which IMO makes more sense, and is easier to press.
Oh, I would also really like to see CTRL+SHIFT+W = close all tabs, but I think that’s been bought up before and decided against? Hopefully there will be a way to customise this at some point.
JSleight: Ctrl+Shift+Z can be added as an optional shortcut for Redo to the core. No problem with that. However, Ctrl+Shift+W is a bit problem, so you will have to wait for the keymap feature. I have no timeframe for it now. We are focusing on other things right now, but if I will have some time, I’ll try to spend it on the key mapper. I hope, you can live without it until then… :/
martincohen: I hope, you can live without it until then… :/
Oh sure, no rush whatsoever, there are certianly more important features right now. Ctrl+Shift+Z will be welcome though :), thanks!
