Not really important at this point of the development, but I liked the old 2D-Icons for the bundle-languages (“L”, “B”, “S”) a lot more then the new (shiny) ones.
Just a thought… maybe other users feel so as well?
Would it make sense to let the user choose between different icons via preferences or so?
As mentioned before: not really important at the moment.
I do prefer the older set too. The new budle icon is more consistent with the intype logo though. (And i like the new intype logo, the gray touch is a nice improvement)
Yeah, I preferred the old ones too. The new ones look out of place against the menu’s – the old flat look fitted in much better, was simpler, easier to read and did the same job.
Less is more, as they say.
Well, the icons are still in the design process. I’m trying to style them in various ways to achieve the best look and readability.

I’m going to have to agree with everyone, the original icons for the bundles and application were better.
The new dark gray in the upper right throws off the balance of the application icon. The gray piece feels too separated from the rest.
The original two color icon is simple, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
