IMO you should check back when the Olympics are over. It’s cool that it got this far in development and remained bare-bones but there’s no coordination going on, just a list of promised features and phantom release versions.
Don’t go crazy over this (I know I did). Either look for an alternative or just let it slide into the fog. As for me, I know when I’ll visit here again.
Don’t be bitter about it. It is true that the team lacks (a lot actually) in the social area but they still deliver quality software and quality, unfortunately, requires time.
That said I wish they paid more attention to the community. Nowadays the most successful software brands are those who tap the enthusiasm of its users so such reclusive behavior gives people all the wrong messages. (For example one needs to follow the forums closely to not think Intype has become yet another vaporware.)
I see that the to-do list has been updated! Looking good :)
