    I would like to have 2 more information ( as you wish it can be configured in preferences ). There will be Information about Filesize (in kB), Characters number or Number of Selected characters. It could be placed in the left part of bottom bar. (Line, Column, Characters, Filesize, ... )

    I’m guessing that he means total character count for the file.

    @daryl: That's right. When you have selected 12 characters it shows Chars: 12. When there's no thing selected it shows total count of characters in file.

    No problem, I’ll add this to the 0.3.5 plan. It’s easy because it has already been counted on for 0.4.0.
