It’s summer time, so we took few weeks for vacations, but we’re back now. I’m currently working on Selection updates:
Multi-Rectangle selection: In 0.3.1 release you are using currently, we had single-rectangle selection with pretty much of quirks. Those quirks included: no way on how to create the rectangle in virtual space (space after the line text) resulting in really limited ways on how to do rectangle through lines of various lengths. Also when you’ve started the rectangle, all other selection has been cleared. The new rectangle selection tool is now fixing all those quirks and is working like a charm.
New selection rendering now supports drawing selection with colors defined in theme including alpha channels for both: the background and the foreground. Also, as we were updating the highlighting mechanism, we’ve added support for multiple highlighters that are going to be used to highlight active placeholders in snippet, paired characters, spell-checking stuff, and many more.
Juraj is currently working on notification broadcasting when a file is changed by other application, so we can plug it then to project updater and the tabs.
On the background we are still working on design of new intype.info and the documentation for 0.3.5.
