As I said in my previous post: to much new features for a "next release". If I'm looking at the last screenshots I'm overwhelmed as always. But please guys, please make smaller steps while feeding your future customers and get your nice work done! I'm hungry!

Of course, you did something special, but that's not a skill. The really skill is to let such a project live (mostly for a long time). And at the moment it seems anything but alive. Don't defend your positions like everytime. Just tell the users that there's (for real) an end of 0.3.1.734. Tweets are nice, but nobody knows exactly what should be done until the next release. This and no date where the users can comply with is quite nerv-racking. I'm visiting the site every and every day in the hope that someday there's an end in developing a Text-Editor for a 0.3.5 release.

The most users are pissed off and I don't know how you want to make that up. This is the package you've to be able to cope with. But don't stop working on it. You developed a great thing until now. Just be more dependable ;)

I really want to know, how you see the time after the 0.3.5 release. How much time do you plan for a next release after 0.3.5? Can you please keep shorter release dates like at the beginning of this project. And I don't mean that you have to invest more free time. Just make smaller steps ;)
And is it possible to give us something where we can see what should be done and what's done? (I know there was something like this but I can't find it / really don't have the time to search the whole forum / don't know if it's up to date) You don't have to tell us a release date, but a log or something to appreciate how long it could take would be quite cool. And I don't want to read something like "It's done, when it's done" again. That's so dispensable after 1 1/2 years ...

Hello, a small message from a french user ^ ^

I'm pleased that the project Intype restarts. you make awesome work !!!!
I loved this software for many years, more than E or others windows textmate-like...

If you need people to translate the interface in french, I'm available.

Like other people, i definitivly can’t wait …

    Bon courage !

Following the twitter-news on the homepage I’ve one question:

Would it be possible to post a new to-do-list or something?

The twitter-messages are really informative, but I have no clue
what it means to the context and progress of your work on intype.

    Thanks,

    John

    *bump*

I just found out about this kick-ass editor!
Can't wait to get automatic indentation though.
Until then i will use E-Texteditor but if Intype get that too i will abandon E!

I’ve gone Mac and Textmate, though I’m curious how things are doin’. There’s been no communication for quite some time now.

    Good luck with your project!

    few months and nothing ?
Come on ! If you dont work on intype anymore take out web. It's ridiculous
This is editor not a NASA project. You hide it like pot of gold. Just shutdown page and say that project is dead.
If not ,SAY that its not dead. And release build.

Ehhh anyone will read this ? probalby not. As you want , one client less.

Bye and good luck with your project

The only right thing to do here is to open source Intype.

I have gone back to Emacs and i am happy with it.

I hope negative comments don't bother you devs much. There are those out there that use what you've already given us (for free), enjoy it, and are willing to wait. I'm not saying I wouldn't like more news, but the information has had longer dry spells than this, and progress still happens, so I'm not worried.

    Hi Guys,

I am always on the lookout for a decent text editor for the PC, I know there are plenty, but they all have flaws & things that get on my pip! Then I stumbled upon inType. It fits all of the criteria I am looking for in a text editor. It's clean, efficient, light and lovely to work with (obv it's missing certain functionality like project-wide search & replace) but I imagine this will be included in the next revision..?

Please tell me that this project is still underway. I imagine there are thousands of people like me who are crying out for a mac equiv text editor on the pc. I bought 'e' and it's just not as clean and as well put together as this.

Keep up the good work. There is so much mileage in this if you carry it through to the end.
