I don’t know exactly how i’ve gotten here but i keep trying to forget about this little app. It is already so embarrassing visiting these forums like a “new release” addict, and i am doing my best to loose the addiction with plain but useful sedatives such as e text editor, or sublime text.
Sometimes i go for really powerful ones like Aptana. That knocks me down for a day or so …
But i cant loose it. I keep thinking about Intype and in some weird fashion i find myself using it again. Oh, that beautiful interface, those discrete tabs, the speed and the super cool editing control that has even rounded corners for the active selection. How can you not like that. But i use it and i use it until … bang! ... “it is only an old unstable release” side effect kicks in. No … i cant create a file in the project manager and no … there is no symbol list. All these and more cause such severe symptoms like wasted productivity with searches for “function Function(”.
And then when i was so close to release my addiction this sticky thought blinks in: what if!? What if it there is a new release? Oh, can you imagine the joy, the harmony!! go hurry! Visit the forum!!
And. Then. Again. The crush of … same old, same old. Same old posts, unstable releases, roadmap updates and all the other unwanted effects of this Intype addiction.
I was thinking of creating a therapy group if … you know … any one else is addicted here?
hi, I’m Wojtek, I’m addicted… Intype addicted. And I’m going to be Intype forum spamer… it is stronger than me.
(Chorus) Haaaii Wojtek!

I’m addicted to. Just played around the last days with all these other editors out there and nothing comes close. No InType feeling there. ;-)
scriitoru, nice description of the withdrawal syndrome. :D
I’m not only addicted to Intype as my main editor but to this forum as well, checking every few minutes if anything is up. Give me a prescription…
so, how come i took you about 55 hours to respond to this discussion? :)
I wasn’t thinking of responding to the thread at first. But I can’t help it. :D
