In my experience with most editors Ctrl+backspace deletes the entire last word regardless of where it is in the file. Intype appears to only delete the word if:
1. The cursor is in the middle of the word. Then it deletes the word up to the cursor.
2. The cursor is at the end of the word, but that word is the last one you typed. Then it deletes the entire word and will continue to delete previously typed words on Ctrl+backspace.
But what if I want to delete an entire word that is somewhere in the middle of the document? Ctrl+delete appears to work in this case, but not Ctrl+backspace. Why not?

1. This is correct.
2. Yes, this one is a bug. It should delete the whole word anywhere, not only words at the end of line.
Sweet, can’t wait til this one is squashed and pushed out :)
Fixed, and the fix is included in next unstable release.
