    Hi everybody,

Between when I first stumbled upon intype 3 yeasr ago and today I have used intype for some months. Mainly out of envy for Textmate snippets and the clean interface. But since intype wasn't going to get out of alpha stage any time soon I also dabbled with vim. Today vim is my default editor for anything (it still can't read psd files and the scene flash editor isn't really up-to-date but it's doing the job for everything else) and I literally can't use any other editor that hasn't all the wonderful vim modes, regex search&replace, scripts and so on.. but most of all: key bindings of normal mode for file navigation.

So here's the $1,000,000 request to me: can vim modes be implemented into intype ? Whether via user plug-ins (the javascript thingy) or on lower-level ?

I second this. If vim had a modern and well thought out UI, there would be just no point in using any other software for editing.
